Photography and Poem By Adam Gardner

The mountains in the west don’t sway like trees
Instead, they glower down at all who dare dance

I am upset for their shadow has stolen my sun
My leaves draw back, cringe brown

Think, if I would hear sunlight,
then I would remember that I love you really. See,

I am a mountain too.
