RIchard Opio

Photography and Poem By Maria Jerez Balan
RIchard Opio
Oh, twin brother, sister,

That temporary, utter joy that felt like forever,
The occasional winter sun through naked trees
Their detailed branches.
When the scales have fallen
And the veil torn and ripped,
Unmasked.

“Now I get it!”
“Now I see that, actually”

Despite the fear
of losing time
Art. All before us.
Inspiring fleeting moments
between
Sunset scenes, sun through cloud formations...
Free perfection.
Self-actualisation.

Fully bright
The human chance to transmit that feeling,
Wholesome effect effect that breathes:

“Nothin’ to be afraid of.”
Maverick!

Lift your eyes
Fulfilment by your creation and your mind

You Inspire.

Because creativity, creativity begets
You can’t help but create,
Exchange,
Experience and relate.

Support them, let them run.
Always kept in your heart.
No matter how much time has passed.
No matter who you are.
