Indy joined the PEEL team by exploring the topic of self-perspective and how Millennials, in particular, were allowing their ‘world’s’ response to their physical appearance to dictate their self-worth. Feeling that poetry was a portal to revealing the essence of an individual, Indy volunteered to assist with this form.

Throughout the PEEL workshops and interviews, Indy discovered that understanding a person and representing them in a poem can best be achieved through attaining a single solid image from a memory. She learned how our identity is sewn from the stories we choose to remember which we discover when we are vulnerable and prepared to ‘PEEL’.
