Bernadette Wallace

Photography and Poem By Sharon Charles
Bernadette Wallace
A long walk in the forest,
Zach Bryan blasting into her eardrums.
The smell of moss and dirt
overpowering her nose,
and dark green leaved dress surrounding
her, her favorite color too.
Slowly, she forgets a fight with her brother,
the memory getting replaced
by her swimming with her brother
in a fountain, a core memory.
